• LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) - To provide financial assistance to households to pay home energy bills and other energy related services.
• Weatherization - This program provides assistance in achieving a healthful dwelling environment and maximum practical energy conservation in the dwelling of low income, elderly, or handicapped persons.
• Families First Resource Center - A program designed to provide parenting classes, after school tutoring program, abstinence/teen pregnancy prevention workshops, and child abuse prevention seminars.
• Aging Programs
Home Delivery Meals: Delivers a daily meal to eligible homebound elders.
Transportation: Transporting eligible seniors and/or handicapped individuals to services in the community.
Homemaker: Supportive cleaning services by a trained homemaker to assist in strengthening family life, promoting self-sufficiency and enhancing the quality of life.
Ombudsman: Promotes residents rights within nursing care facilities.
Outreach: Trained workers seek and identify targeted individuals (60 & older) to access their service needs, to inform and encourage their use of available resources and make appropriate referrals.
