Anyone who interacts with an employee of the Rankin County Sheriff's Office, whether directly or as a witness, is encouraged to provide your feedback. In addition to submitting information on this website, compliments or complaints can be submitted over the phone or in person. To submit a complaint by phone, please contact us at (601) 825-1480. In all cases, complaints should be submitted within ninety (90) days of the incident. If a complaint is made anonymously or by a third party, please provide enough information to corroborate the details of the incident.

For matters related to inmates housed in the Rankin County Detention Center or other matters related to the jail, please contact our 24-hour Booking Office at 601-825-1479.
