Mental Health & Well-being: Prioritizing Your Care

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Many veterans experience challenges related to service, and we want you to know you're not alone. The VA offers a wide range of mental health services.

Emergency Resources:

·         Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988

·         Veterans Crisis Line: Call 1-800-273-8255 (Press 1)

Getting Help:

Disability Compensation & Pension

If you have a service-connected injury or illness, you may be eligible for disability compensation. The VA provides financial benefits to help offset the impact of your disability. Pension benefits may also be available for veterans with wartime service and limited income.

VA Healthcare Enrollment

To receive healthcare through the VA, you must enroll. Eligibility is based on factors such as service history, income, and disability status.

Support for Surviving Family Members

We understand the loss of a veteran impacts families profoundly. The VA offers several resources:

Caregiver Support

Military caregivers play a critical role. The VA offers programs to support caregivers of eligible veterans.

VA Home Loans

VA home loans offer unique benefits for veterans, active-duty military, and eligible surviving spouses.
